It's Sale-a-bration time again! This is Stampin' Up's biggest promotion of the year! You can choose free SAB products with every $50 or $100 purchase. Check them out HERE. For today's project, I used the beautiful Flight & Airy DSP (Designer Series Paper) that you can get free with a $50 order. The birds were fussy cut right from the paper. I got the idea for this fun fold card from a card made by Jaime Babarczy.
The measurements for the corner fold card are below. To see how I got the triangle pieces cut just right, watch THIS VIDEO where I make the card step by step.
Corner Fold Card Measurements in inches:
- Boho Blue card base: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, score at 4-1/4
- Pink Floral DSP: 3-7/8 x 5-1/8
- Blue DSP: 1-5/8 x 3-5/8
- Basic White: 4 x 5-1/4 (cut 2, one for inside and one for the front)
- Basic White: scrap to die-cut label
- Other products: Linen Thread and Blooming Pearls
Directions:
- Cut your cardstock and DSP according to the measurements above.
- The next few steps will be easier to understand if you watch this video, but I'll try to explain in writing as well. Measure down 2” from the top right of the card base and put a small mark with a pencil. Score from this mark to the middle score line of the card. This flap will fold over.
- Lay one of the white panels on the card front (without the corner folded down) leaving a 1/16” edge around top (ignore the bottom) and place a little pencil mark on the right side just above the right score line on the card base. Place another pencil mark on the top left just slightly inside the score line. Cut from one mark to the other to get your white triangle piece.
- Now lay that same white piece on the card front with a 1/8” edge around the bottom and sides and place a small pencil mark on the right side just below the score line. Cut from that mark to the top left corner.
- Take your piece of DSP that is 1-5/8 x 3-5/8 and cut from one corner to the other on the diagonal. This will give you two pieces. You only need one for the card but can use the other to make an additional card.
- Attach your floral DSP to the white panel, then attach to the card front.
- Fold the right corner down on the score line and attach to the card front with dimensionals.
- Attach your triangle pieces to this folded area, first the white and then the DSP.
- Stamp your greeting in Boho Blue ink on the white label piece and add to the card with dimensionals on the left side (the right is already lifted because of the corner piece being on dimensionals.)
- Fussy cut a bird/flower image out of the DSP and glue to the corner area, being careful not to put glue on the part that goes over the edge so it won't stick to the inside of the card.
- Tie two strands of Linen Thread into a bow and attach to the card with a glue dot.
- Add Blooming Pearls to the card.
- Attach the white panel to the inside of the card.
- Optional: Cut a 1/2 strip of DSP to go inside. You can also fussy cut more birds to go on the inside.

I think you chose the right addition with the linen thread. The blue bow was just too big, but I did also like the double twine bow. Beautiful card, by the way. Meg
