I'm excited to share this fun project with you today. It features the Sending Cheer Bundle which has such cute images! Usually, you will save money when you purchase a bundle rather than purchasing the stamps and dies separately, but right now, the stamp set and dies are each 40% off, so it's better to purchase them on their own. These items are on the last chance list, which means they are only available while supplies last, so grab them fast! You will also want to check out the adorable Christmas Tidings embossing folder which is also on the last chance list.
I don't remember where I first learned this fun fold card pattern, but it's certainly one I use and repeat often. Here is the gingerbread version in two color schemes made with the Sending Cheer bundle:
Real Red base, Old Olive layers, Beary Christmas DSP, Gingerbread man stamped in Pecan Pie, Gift stamped in Sweet Sorbet and Blueberry Bushel |
Granny Apple Green base, Melon Mambo layers, Merry & Bright DSP, Gingerbread man stamped in Pecan Pie, Gift stamped in Granny Apple Green and Blueberry Bushel |
You can watch me make the card above in a Facebook Live video HERE. You will find the supply list at the bottom of this blog post.
These are the measurements in inches for the Granny Apple Green version of the card:
- Granny Apple Green: 4-1/4 x 11, score at 5-1/2 and 9-1/4
- Melon Mambo (left side): 3-1/2 x 4
- Melon Mambo (right side): 1-1/2 x 4
- White layer (front): 3-1/4 x 3-3/4
- White layer (inside): 3-1/2 x 4
- Merry & Bright DSP (front right): 1-1/4 x 3-3/4
- Merry & Bright DSP (inside on pocket): 1-1/2 x 4
- White: punch or die-cut 1-3/8" circle
- Granny Apple Foil: punch or die-cut 1-1/2" circle
Here are some other cards I've made with this pattern in the past:
I also used the Sending Cheer bundle to make a gift of Stampin' Dimensionals for the guests at our recent Super Saturday event.
This was a fairly simple project to make, although whenever you mass produce, it becomes a time-consuming labor of love! Right? :) Making projects in bulk is a fun activity to do while watching movies with my hubby.
Measurements (in inches) for pouch to hold one sheet of Stampin' Dimensionals:
- Crumb Cake: 5 x 8-1/2, score at 4-1/4
- Garden Walk DSP: 2 x 4
- The tag was die-cut out of Crumb Cake cardstock using the Sending Cheer dies, then embossed with the polka dot folder from the Basics 3D folders.
- The little circle with "For You" was also die-cut with Sending Cheer Dies
- The larger circles with "Sending Cheer" are 1-3/8 and 1-1/2
Fold along the score line. Remove the top section of the card front by measuring 2-1/4" up from the bottom right side and cutting over to the score line; then along the score line to the top. I show how to make this project in the same video as the other card. Click HERE to watch.
The first time I used this cute bundle was on a crafting cruise with Patty Bennett and Kurstan del Rosario. We made the following adorable projects:
As you can see, it's easy to make darling festive projects with this stamp set and dies. It's a must have, especially since it's 40% off (while supplies last)!
