Both crafters and non-crafters may book with our group; only crafters need to pay the crafting fee. Feel free to invite your spouse, friends, and family members to join you on your vacation.

The fee to participate in the crafting portion is $250 and includes the following:

  • 24 self-paced projects (we provide all supplies other than your usual tool kit of adhesive, scissors, etc.)
  • Goodie bag and table gifts
  • Every crafter will receive half of a table to craft at for the duration of the cruise; come and go as you please.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much time will I spend in the craft room?

This is completely up to you. We assume you will want to visit the ports, shows on the ship, and do other activities besides crafting. We will be doing that as well! You should be able to complete all 24 projects we provide on the "sea days", then be free to explore and do all the other activities you want on port days, in the evenings, etc. That being said, if you want to be in the craft room on port days or every evening, or even the middle of the night, you can do that too!  We (the crafting hosts) will be in the craft room to assist you on sea days, but you are welcome to work on your own when we are not there.

What do I need to bring?

We will provide a list of supplies to our guests several weeks before the trip, but you can expect that it will be your usual class tools--paper snips, adhesive, dimensionals, tape, glue, glue dots, and paper trimmer. We will bring 2 to 4 die-cutting machines so you don't need to bring a machine, but you may want to bring one to have at your own table so you don't have to get up as much or wait for a turn. If you want to bring your own projects--scrapbooking supplies, paper pumpkin kits, knitting, etc.--to work on after you finish the 24 projects we provide, you are welcome to do so.

How much does the cruise cost?

In addition to the crafting fee, you will pay for your cruise cabin and your airfare or travel fees to/from the port. Your cabin fee includes all of your meals (unless you want to eat at specialty restaurants on the ship).  Guided excursions at the ports are optional and an additional cost.  The cabin rates vary depending on the kind of cabin you choose--interior, ocean view, balcony, suite, etc. You can see our group rates listed above for certain categories of staterooms, but you can also call our agents if you want something different or have questions about rates/deals you see on Royal's site.  You must book through our travel agents at Cruise & Crop (1-800-645-1481) to participate in the crafting portion of the trip.
