Tin of Cards

I love the greetings in the Tin of Cards stamp set.  You have a mix of large curvy fonts and small straight-line fonts which makes this set very versatile.
Tin of Cards Photopolymer Stamp Set
This first card design came from Mary Fish.  I punched out a bunch of hearts with the itty bitty heart punch (retired now).  Then I used the Happy Heart embossing folder on the bottom half of the card to give me the guide lines for gluing on the hearts.  It was a little tedious, but I love how it turned out.

I decided to make the same card design with DSP (designer paper) on the bottom half of the card instead of punched-out-hearts.  It was a snap to put together!  I had to stop myself from making the card with every different kind of DSP I own! :)

This next lovely card design came from Anne Granger.  You really can't go wrong with the Butterfly thinlit dies!  Add that butterfly to any card and it will look gorgeous.  I love it paired with the curvy Tin of Cards sentiments.  I really wanted to make this card in all kinds of different colors, but the mass amount of layers I had to cut for each card helped me limit it to two. :)

It is always fun to make items beyond cards.  Here are some easy little giftcard holders.  You score a paper sack at 3 inches from the bottom and fold it up.  Wrap DSP and ribbon around it to make a pocket.  Slip a gift card in the front pocket and a greeting card insert in the back pocket (where the sack naturally opens).  These designs were inspired by gift card holders made by Wendy Lee.

I often pair the greetings from the Tin of Cards stamp set with images from other stamp sets.  These are just a few samples.

This is a well-used and well-loved stamp set that I highly recommend adding to your collection!
