Candy Cane Christmas Class

Please join me for my next stamp class!

Candy Cane Christmas Class, $5
Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 7:30 p.m. OR
Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 10:30 a.m.
RSVP to stampwithmarsha@gmail.com or let me know on Happy Stampers facebook page.

You will be making two adorable projects with the Candy Cane Christmas stamp set and the Candy Cane Lane designer paper.  One of the projects is a shaker card with real sprinkles.  How fun!

Turn your shaker card into a nifty gift for a neighbor by adding a cookie mix and cookie cutter.  You can do this on your own, or pay $4 extra at the class for me to get the supplies for you.  Please let me know ahead of time if you want to do this.

What to bring:
The shaker card has some fussy cutting, so please bring your own pair of scissors to save on wait time.  As always, bring adhesive, or plan to buy it at the class for $4 ($2 for a refill if you already have a dispenser).

I am offering a daytime option for those who can come during the day without little children.  These classes are not fitting for small children as you will be too busy crafting to supervise them and I will be too busy helping everyone with their projects.  Thank you for understanding.

Christmas Bonus!
If you don't have to rush off, you can make one of the three shaker cards shown below for FREE!  I bought an extra kit from last year's holiday catalog and I thought I would share it with everyone.  There are limited numbers of each design, so let me know if you want me to put your name on a certain one. :)

Christmas Stamp-a-Stack

It was so fun to have friends over for my Christmas Stamp-a-Stack class last week.  There were five card designs and guests could choose to make one of each card, or three of each.  Many of them chose to stamp-a-stack! :)

I tried to choose fairly simple designs with limited die-cutting so they would come together quickly, yet still be impressive.  I found some great samples on Pinterest.  The first design is shown above, these are the others:

The last one wasn't quite so simple, but I die-cut the flower ahead of time to speed things along.  Most of my guests were able to complete 15 cards in 2 hours.  These are my awesome guests hard at work:

I love those ladies and can't wait for the next stamping get-together!

Snow Place Like Home

Last Saturday, we made 9 fun projects at my "Snow Place Stamp Camp."  We used the adorable Snow Place stamp set with matching Snow Friends framelits.

Dressing up the snowman and penguins with different scarves, hats, and accessories brought back memories of my paper doll days. :)  We made a shaker card, shutter card, pyramid card, and more. I can't take credit for designing any of these projects as I found most of them on Pinterest.  I made the others at a demonstrator training day in July.  Here are close-ups of the projects.

We were so busy stamping that I barely managed to snap one photo of my guests while they were hard at work.  I love having friends over to stamp. :)

World Card Making Day Buffet

October 1st was World Card Making Day!  To celebrate, I held a Card-Making "Buffet" event where attendees could pre-select the designs they wanted and make as little or as much as they wanted. Between two sessions, and 15 guests, we made 85 cards!  It was a perfect way to spend the day.

These are the card designs guests could choose from:

Card One made with Flourishing Phrases Bundle

Card 2 made with Wondrous Wreath and Seasonal Frame Thinlits

Card 3 made with Lovely as a Tree and Tin of Cards

Card 4 made with Leaflets Framelits and Woodland Embossing Folder,
Greeting is from a retired set

Card 5 made with a retired set

Card 6 made with Star of Light bundle
Out of my 15 guests, I only managed to take photos of a few of them.  I get carried away with the stamping!  Thank you to all who came!

Stamping with Friends

My, oh my, it's been awhile since I have posted.  I haven't stopped stamping, I just haven't managed to post about it! :)

First, run check out Stampin' Up's Clearance Rack. They've added dozens of new goodies this week.  I just filled up my cart with ribbons and buttons because the prices are unbeatable! The Oval Layering Framelits are also on special right now until September 21st, so I had to get those too.

Now on to my latest stamping adventures...

I went to Utah for a family reunion in August.  It was so great to reconnect with everyone.  I was even able to slip in a little stamping time with my mom. Thank you, Paper Pumpkin, for making it so easy to stamp while traveling!

I attended another Stamping Friends Regional Gathering at the end of August and completely failed at taking photos!  I will get some up soon, but for now, this is one of the projects we made with Jar of Cheer.  I came home and added the lid, bells, and ribbon to the top of the jar.

This was my card swap made with the new Christmas Magic stamp set:

Last Saturday was my monthly Make & Take Class and we made these three projects:

My guests could choose from three variations for the Thinking of You card made with the hostess Time of Year set. Here are some close-ups.

These cards were made with My Hero and Jar of Love.

I love stamping with these awesome ladies!

Holiday Head Start Demo Training Day

Last Saturday I attended a "Holiday Headstart Demo Training Day" put on by Michelle Suit and Leena Girsa.  It was really relaxing to make Christmas projects and listen to Christmas music in July; I loved it!  Did I mention it was 100 degrees outside?!

These are some of the goodies we made.  Snow Place stamp set and Snow Friends framelits are featured several times.  Those items have definitely been added to my wishlist!

When I got home, I showed the projects we made to my family and this "shutter" card was a big hit!  Even the boys were impressed!
In case the video doesn't work, I tried to capture the shutter effect in these photos.  As you open the card, the shutters open revealing the penguin's face.  So fun!
I also took pictures of cards that were on display that I want to recreate.  The first card with the snowman in the jar was my absolute favorite!

We were able to bring one "guest" (not a demonstrator) with us and I was happy to go with my friend, Cindy.  Sadly, she was moving the next day, but at least we had our last big stamping day together before she left!
