For once in my life, I was prepared in advance for Teacher Appreciation week! I made this little post-it-note pouch for my son's teacher back in March. I should have given it to her in March because Coronavirus came to visit mid-March and we've been social-distancing ever since. Schools closed and this little pouch is still sitting on my shelf. Teacher Appreciate week was last week, but I still need to get his teacher's address so I can send it to her!
I make post-it note pouches all the time. As a piano teacher, I always have post-it notes by my side and I like to have them cutely packaged. Note: These notes are not actual Post-it Note brand and my measurements won't fit the post-it brand correctly. These measurements are made to fit the less expensive Highland Note brand. You can make a bunch without spending a fortune. It's the love that counts! :) Here are the measurements:

- Start with a piece of Poppy Parade cardstock and cut at 3-1/4" x 8-1/2"
- With 8-1/2" side at the top, score at 3-1/8", 3-9/16", 6 5/8", 7-1/16"
- Use a corner rounder punch to round your top and bottom corners.
- Fold on your score lines and attach your post-its to the center with glue or other adhesive.
- Add magnetic strips. I cut them from magnetic vent covers purchased at Lowes. I used tear tape to attach them.
- Now you just need to decorate the front! I used the Bold Brights DSP (retired now) for the apple and the green strip across the front. See the remaining supplies used at the end of this post.
Here is a cute card to go along with the pouch:
Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you will enjoy making these post-it pouches as much as I did! Please use the May Host Code when you order online this month: UXG4FRQG. If your order is over $50, you will receive a box of glue dots as a free gift from me. If your order is over $150, do not use the code as you will earn the host rewards for yourself plus get the glue dots.
Happy Stamping!
Marsha
