If you are anything like me, you have an abundance of DSP (Designer Series Paper) in your craft room. My latest DSP addition is the Delightful Daisy paper. I had used several of the patterns for my Daisy Delight class, but I wanted to show samples made with ALL of the patterns and the swirly background had yet to be used. This is what I came up with:
The cardstock base is Old Olive. The DSP piece is 4" wide and 3" tall. The greeting is from a retired sale-a-bration set. I added double-stitched ribbon and glitter enamel dots. The card was simple and easy to make and I loved how it turned out. I couldn't resist replicating the design with a variety of greetings, paper, and ribbon. The remaining greetings all come from the stamp set One Big Meaning. The paper on all of the cards is from the Delightful Daisy pack.
I had to stop myself from repeating this card with every different kind of paper I owned. I can't wait to try it with Christmas paper!
These are some of the other cards I made with the Daisy Delight bundle. I found most of these designs on Pinterest.
3 x 3 cards:
Same design, different colors.
Same design, different colors:
The moral of the story is, find an easy design you like and repeat it over and over with different colors, images, patterns, etc. And don't forget to use that wonderful DSP!
