Best Stampin' Deal!

What is a Stampin' Up starter kit?

The starter kit comes with your choice of $125 worth of product for only $99.  If you don't know what to choose, you can go with the products Stampin Up' recommends HERE, but most people choose items from their own wish list.  If you buy a starter kit during Sale-a-Bration (Jan 4-March 31), you also get to choose any two free stamp sets from the current catalogs.

If I buy the starter kit, does that mean I'm signing up to be a Stampin' Up demonstrator?

Yes, but that doesn't mean you have to sell Stampin' Up products. Stampin' Up welcomes hobby demonstrators.  Many demonstrators join simply to get the 20% discount on their own purchases.  You are under no obligation to sell.

What happens if I purchase the starter kit to take advantage of the deal and don't plan to order again?

Then you get to keep all of the awesome goodies that came with your starter kit and enjoy them.  There is no penalty if you decide to drop.

What do I need to do to continue getting the discount?

You will automatically get a 20% discount for three months on every purchase you make after joining, regardless of how much you purchase or sell.  If you want to continue as an active demonstrator after that, you will need to meet $300 in sales/purchases each quarter.

Do I have to hold workshops and classes?

Not at all.  You can continue stamping as you've always done and enjoy the added benefit of getting a discount on all of your purchases.  If you want to hold classes and build a business, I'm more than happy to support you with that too!

Can I still earn hostess rewards?

Definitely!  Anytime you place a $150 order, either as a customer or a demonstrator, you get hostess rewards.  Yes, that means hostess rewards on top of the discount!

Can I still come to your stamping classes?

Of course! Please do!  You are always welcome to attend my stamping events.  You will get a $5 credit each month towards any of my classes just for being on my team.

Can I still receive your online card classes and kits?

Yes.  Instead of ordering product to receive the class/kit, you can purchase it for $10 (and yes, you can apply your $5 credit towards online classes too).

Flourishing Phrases

This week I have been playing with the beautiful Flourishing Phrases bundle.  I love it when I can use the same design for a card over and over and simply swap the sentiment.  It is especially easy to do with this stamp set that includes so many great sentiments.  I found this card design by Helga Hopen here and loved its simplicity.  We will be making this card at my next Make & Take class on March 11th.  I hope to see you there!

 

  

  

The background is Tip Top Taupe cardstock.  The Mint Macron rectangle is embossed with the Petal Burst embossing folder. The leafy branch is die-cut from Garden Green cardstock.  The leaves on the inside of the card are stamped in Mint Macaron.  This is another version of the card:

To get the background effect shown above, I rubbed a Mint Macaron stamp pad inside the Petal Burst embossing folder before embossing on white cardstock.  The leafy branch was die-cut from Mint Macaron cardstock.
