With Christmas just around the corner, this is the perfect project for gifting small items such as jewelry, hand lotion, and gift cards! I learned how to make these cute bags from Judy Klock at Stamping with Crafty Klock.
To make these bags, you will need two sheets of matching 6 x 6 Designer Paper, some ribbon, and any supplies you want to make a tag. I used the Tidings of Christmas DSP and Tidings & Trimmings stamp set.
Measurements:
- Take a 6 x 6 piece of DSP and score at 1-1/2 and 4-1/2.
- Turn the DSP right at a 90 degree angle and score at 1-1/2 and 5.
- Repeat with the other piece of DSP. The one inch side folds back to reveal the other pattern and becomes the top of your bag.
You make each side of the bag, then glue one side inside the other. It is challenging to explain in words, but easy to do. Please watch THIS VIDEO to see how to put it together (start at the 9:40 mark).
I hope you will enjoy this quick and easy project! If you shop with me this month, please use the following host code on orders of $150 or less: NSMT2ZU2. If you order is over $50, you will receive a classic ink pad of your choice from me (mailed out at the beginning of January). If your order is over $150, do not use the code as you will get your own host rewards, plus the free gift!
Happy Stamping!
